Labour of Love

What a beautiful quilt - lovely needleturn applique and embroidery on fine magnolia coloured cotton, by RosaLeen. Sometimes frustrating perhaps, but a wonderful result.

WPQ Bag for Regional Get Together

At this year's Regional Get Together, each Group was asked to make a bag to be auctioned for local Alzheimer's Support.
Our bag was made by many members in an in-house workshop conducted by Elly. The bag is made of a folded circle similar to a cathedral window, in a luxurious black and gold oriental print.

Record number of Crib Quilts for Bourke

This year we have completed 135 crib quilts for the Bourke Hospital. Here is Erica the organiser with some of the quilts. Congratulations to all Members - what a variety of quilts, from traditional to modern and including many dynamic aboriginal themed fabrics.
